Agh! 20 Miles. It's so frickin un imaginable to me right now! I just don't think I'd ever have the patience to run distances over 12K. Of course my body is telling me to drop 10 or 15 before even thinking of doing that. Cheers and have a good week!

Picked up the current issue of Adventure Sports over the weekend here in Santa Cruz. I see this young lady on the cover kicking major ass. Than I read that you were born and raised in Fremont, as was I. I tell my wife, "look at what this girl does, and she's from Fremont"?!? I left the bay area's fourth largest city to go to school about ten years ago. For all these years I thought for sure ass kicking on this level was not possible by any resident of that monster suburb. Apparently, I was wrong. Thanks for reinstilling my faith in humanity. Your endurance is awesome in the true sense of the word. Awe-some. You look amazing, you are amazing and you're a real inspiration. Keep on getting it done and let the haters live in their own miserable hate-filled world.

So, what's the bear on your backpack's name? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hey SB-
It's a raccoon and his name is Cooney. He is from Yosemite Valley. He is very famouse there. They even wrote a story book about him and how he won the biggest race there.
I actually use to have Max from where the wild things are on my pack. But I lost him ;( I also had bought him in Yosemite back in 2002 for good luck. I put him on my pack for good luck when I did my first rock climb a route on Half Dome called Snake dike.
He traveled the world with me.
I even tattooed him on my arm.
I was in Yosemite and bought the story book and doll of Cooney.
So when Max went missing I just replaced him with Cooney.
I believe Max is somewhere living it up on the Ohlone wilderness trail. That's where he went missing ;)

Congrats on getting the 20 miler in. It always feels good to get back to that place even after a short layoff. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. And, hey! Get off that antenna! You're messing up my reception :-)
