I did it. I ran 100.3 miles at the 24 hour run. It was not easy and I had to work my ass off to finish. I will post a full report tomorrow. I was 11th out of 67 starters in the 24 hour run. I tied for 3rd place with my friend Jennifer Ray. We helped each other that last mile.

ZEN CARD:
CONCENTRATION
As a drowning man wants air, as the lover seeks their beloved. This is the way you must focus on that which you want. This intensity of concentration will remove all obstacles.

Wow, that is a lot of miles to run!! In one day, no less! Congrats! I know most of your pics on your blog are in your running or workout outfits but you look great in street clothing, too!

Btw, I came across this
survey for female ultrarunners from Scott Dunlap's blog and thought I'd forward it to you (since you're the perfect candidate)!

Wow! That's so amazing! Did it help you learn to love running on flat ground? I think after that many miles I would have been cursing whatever kind of terrain it was!! :-)

Pleasure to finally meet you. I was super pleased to see you broke 100 miles. Excellent work persevering in tough conditions. I hope we get to run together again soon.

p.s. Tell "anonymous" to kiss MY ass.

p.p.s. Pleased to see that the people who can spell "congrats" outnumber those who can't, 4-2. ;)

I had a blast being Catra at our little event. A good running buddy, (I've known for years) thought I was you!
You are a great sport Catra, says alot about you.
See you out on the trails one of these days.
