You know so some people say
everything they touch turns to gold.
Not true for me it turns to silver...LOL
...
Me & the Siver Statue man of Waikiki...I just love this guy. I don't know how he can wear that hot outfit and silver make-up. I would roast.

Well I just got back from a run & workout at the gym. Off to shop and lie on the beach..
I'll post some pictures later of my day here in Paridise. Posted by Picasa

My New Tattoo............ I went out for a run today in Hawaii and on my way back to the hotel.
I spoted a tattoo shop. I always wanted to get a tattoo in Hawaii. This was not just any tattoo shop it's Hart & Huntington tattoo company. They have a shop at the Palms in Las Vegas and a T.V show.
The singer Pink is Married to Corey Hart. He's a famous dirt bike rider and co-owner of the shop.
Well anyways looks like I may be getting tattooed in Hawaii. Posted by Picasa

Everyone who knows me, knows I'm obsesses with the number 3.
I always ask for race number 3 or 33 fro races.
If I don't get it I hope my number breaks down to 3. I'm number 9 at HURT 100 that breaks down to 3 threes. Today I looked at the clock and it was 3:33pm.
We are on the 21st floor that equals 3 and we are in room 3.
Yeah I know I'm a nut! It's always a good sign when I see the number 3.

Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair.
I hate that when I tell people I'm going to visit my parents I have to go to the cemetery. No one should have to do this.
My parents shouldn't be dead. They weren't old enough to die. Well at least in my books.
They should of lived to be in their 90's like my grandparents.
Instead God had other plans. Plans that sometime I just don't understand why?
My Dad died of a heart attack, he was 48 years old. I was 17 and it hurt not to have him in my adult life.
My Mom was healty, so we thought. She was 70 and so full of life.
When ever I get ready for a hundred I go to visit my parents. I know I don't have to, but it makes me feel better. I do it out of love, and respect.
I take my parents with me on each of my journeys.
God had other plans for them, so I must accept it. But it's hard.
My Mom was alive for my first 3 HURT 100's. And planned on going to HURT #4 with me but she passed away before then.
As I head out on the trails Saturday I can't predict what will happen. One thing I do know is my Parents, in Angel form will be by my side, guiding me to the finish line Sunday afternoon.

Friends please send me positive vibes.
Also make sure you tell your parents you love them.
I have no regrets my parents knew I loved them. Posted by Picasa

ZEN CARD OF THE DAY.......MEDITATION

SIT QUIETLY.
WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS
AND FEELINGS PASS IN FRONT OF YOU.
RELINQUISH
CONTROL AND THE DESIRE TO
GET CAUGHT IN THEM. SEE
THAT NOTHING IN LIFE IS
PERMANENT. YOUR
THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, AND
PERCEPTIONS ALL PASS
BEFORE YOU. IF ANYTHING
CATCHES YOU.
GENTLY RELEASE IT, AND
SIMPLY CONTINUE WATCHING.

Catra & Rocky

Me & rocky after a 6 miler. He was a little worked.
He loves to run! He's the only reason I taper.
If it wasn't for him I would go out and run longer before my 100's,
which isn't very smart.
Have a great day! Posted by Picasa

Yesterdays run along Alameda Creek/ Quarry lakes trail.

Today I am offically divorced. Here is a picture of me and my X-husband badass Rockclimber Ammon McNeely. This picture reminds me of how much fun I had even though there was a lot of sadness and bad times. In the end we were just not meant to be.
Yes in this picture I'm holding a beer just for fun.
We were both so differenent but had an intense love for our sports and the outdoors.
One thing we really had in common was we both loved Yosemite. That's where we met.

I wish Ammon well in all he does with the rest of his life.
I don't care what anyone says or even what I have said. But when someone touches your life in such a profound way like Ammon did in my life you always have a little love for that person.

I am now free to go forward. It's weird but I'm a little sad that it's official. I really haven't talk to him that much in the past two years.
I know our paths will cross in Yosemite and I can only be happy for him. Posted by Picasa

I love snowboarding!!!!!!
So I can now add snowboarding, to the ever growing list of sports I love!!!
I had so much fun. Thanks Dominic for taking me. I didn't even complaine or did I ;)
The first few runs were all about becoming one with the board. Once I figured that out. I got it. I connected with my board and the snow. Did I tell you I hate the cold & the snow. Well I use to.
I told myself I must learn to love it, and I do.

I did spend quite a bit of time in this position. But so did a lot of people.
I can't wait to go again. I already have it planned out when I get back from Hawaii. I want to get good.
I went out running Friday in Tahoe around 4:30pm, not a smart thing to do when there's tons of snow and ice on the ground. I only ran for 45 min. But when the sun went down it got cold. I made it back to the motel just in time. I was so cold. My hands were so sore. It felt like someone hit each one of my finger tips with a hammer. My toes were very numb too. But the pain in my finger tips was almost unbearable. It took at least 15 min. until the pain stopped. Poor Dominic didn't know what to do. So he took my hands and put him under his shirt, on his stomach. It worked, and the pain started going away from the warmth of his body. He said my hands were like ice cubes.

Oh., and by the way I was wearing gloves. Lesson learned, two pairs of gloves next time and no running after 3pm in the Winter in Tahoe.
Well at least next weekend I will be in Hawaii. Won't have to worry about the cold or snow. Posted by Picasa

So focused, and determind to make it down without falling. Posted by Picasa

Nice ass shot Dominic ;) I wasn't the only one falling.
I count 4 people on the ground in this shot. Posted by Picasa

I haven't seen David in 15 years. How the hell we made it through our 20's is beyond me.
Me & David went through so much together, good times, and bad. We were thrown out more than once, from the night clubs for being way to drunk. The bartenders would cut us from drinking, that's how bad we got. David was just a little bit worse than me. The bartenters would serve him nonalcohlic wine, and he would be to drunk to notice. I use to drive to the night clubs drunk with him on the back of my motorcycle.
We always drove drunk. I'm suprised he's still alive.
I ran into him tonight at the Blank club. I saw him dancing and knew who he was because he still has the same dance moves. God I love him so much.
I'm looking forward to hanging out at the club together again with David. We plan on seeing each other again before I take off for Hawaii.
Life is good, and I'm so very happy that lately that the Universe is sending me so many gifts. Posted by Picasa

I'm feeling much better. I went out for a 2 hour run. Running always makes me feel better! It was beautiful out 65 degrees,
I'm Happy it hasn't been a cold Winter, so far. Looks like it will be a light snow year in the Sierras. Lucky me since in May I will be hitting the PCT for my 3 month journey.
Ok here's a zen card..It's been a few days.

Patience...
watch water
drop onto the rock
beneath it. One drop does
nothing, but many
drops over time create
a hole in the
rock Such is the
power of patience.
