Saturday Carl and I headed out to see a band called Punk Rock Karaoke
It was made up from members of Social D, NOFX, Adolescents and Bad Relegion.
It was awesome you pick from a play list and you can go up on stage to preform with the band. Some of the people were amazing. Next time they come I will be prepared and do my best version of Rock'N Roll high school by the Ramones ;)
Heading to the club.
The bathroom of any club offers a great photo opp.
In front of the club.

My Destiny............
My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no one's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.

Hey lady-- are you going to do the Rose Valley run? (The sub for 9 trails?)

Nice pics, by the way. And the band sounds like something my brother would love, being a fan of all 4 of the bands it drew from...

Hey Victoria-
I'm running Quad. dipsea for the 11th time ;)
Was signed up for 9 trails but Andy paid for it and gave the entry away which was fine. We are friends still. I just see the point of driving that far to run and sleep in my car when I could run close to home.
Are you running it??
XOXO,
Catra

Hey Catra,

Unrelated to your post, but will you tell me about the pack that you (and many other trail runners wear)? It's got the mesh type pouches on the shoulder straps. It seems popular whick leads me to believe it's of some value. Is this some type of hydration pack?

Happy Trails,

Well, you would have been welcome to crash at my parents' house, which is where I'll be this weekend (in SB). I'm not running it because my foot is still recovering from the September breakage and I'm only up to 4-5 miles right now. Plus, it got moved to Ojai (on the Coyote 2 moons course) because of the fires in SB/Montecito last week, and the whole draw of the course for me is that it's on trails I grew up hiking.

Have a great time at the Quad though-- it sounds like all of the Bay Area trail running community will be there!

Catra, thanks for sharing your story/journey. I have just about taken the plunge into CF all due to your tales. Thanks so much. Best wishes.
