This is the one person I wanted to finish HURT 100 miler.
Jimmy Wrublik. He's an amazing young man. He's 17 years old. Last year he dropped at mile 87. I just knew this year he would make it and he did.
Jimmy I'm so PROUD of you. YOU ROCK!!!! Posted by Picasa

Young ultrarunners have so much focus, compared to their peers. They'll do well in life.

Oh my god! 17?!? That's amazing. I will now slink away in shame at what I was doing at 17...

When I was 17, I over-dosed twice. I was stoned every day.
At least my over-doses caused me to change my life. It was the beginning of the beginning.
Jimmy is awesome. If he's doing this at 17, there's no telling what he'll be when he's turning gray.

Well, once again your unselfishness shines as an example for all. To struggle as you did, then give so much attention and support to a young runner who nailed that thing is a fine example of a great runner and most of all a great person.

Glad you survived your setback and wish you a speedy recovery.

I was starting a serious drinking career when I was 17 and was dead emotionally and almost dead physically by 27.

Am very happy I can run a little and tap out a "somewhat" coherent note to you:)
