"Some people create with words, or with music, or with a brush and paints. I like to make something beautiful when I run. I like to make people stop and say, "I've never seen anyone run like that before." It's more then just a race, it's a style. It's doing something better then anyone else. It's being creative."
Guess who PR'd her 50k time a week after HURT 100? Yep me !!
I was 35 when I ran 5:30, now at 48 I ran a 5:21.
I'm unstoppable.
Fremont Fat ass 50k. I think it was the energy from my magical Hurt bracelet that helped! Woo hoo

“The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall. ”
I DID IT!! I finished HURT 100 after 5 years of only completing the 100k option and 1 DNF, I am back up to badass status! And boy does it feel good to put the Hurt on Hurt.
I decided to go into this race as if it was my first hurt 100, go in blind with an open mind and run it with every part of my heart and soul. It worked.
I kept focused and positive had an awesome crew and pacers that kept me moving and knew the only option was a finish. Thanks Jerry & Donato for getting me there.
Also big shout out to all the volunteers who helped out.
And of course my little guardian angel Rocky Ridge. He was there every step of the way.
Finally my 7th HURT 100 mile finish 35:15

“Know that everything is in perfect order whether you understand it or not.”
I'm in Hawaii for the HURT 100 miler.
This will be the 13 time I have run the race with 6 , 100 mile finished. 5 , 100k finished and 1, DNF.
I am here with Andy for the first time in 4 years but that's ok. I am letting go to the life I had with and only good can come out of this for me. I gave so much driving back and forth to SoCal the last 4 years and 11 months. I'm so over it and him.
I need a positive and loving guy in my life's know he will come. I will continue on living and doing what I love run.
Please send me positive vibes this weekend I'm going to need them and all your energies to get me through this.

I realized today that I'd been the only one holding our relationship together because the moment I let go, it fell apart completely.
This week has been a whirlwind of emotions just trying to understand what went wrong.
I hoped Andy would change or try to at least make some effort to save what we had.
That is what hurts me the most, he gave up and was willing to fight for me, for us.
So I had to let go.
I am missing our fun times we shared and those funny things only couples understand , like the funny names we called each other.
I miss the Andy I first met. This past year we were never on the same page let alone the same book ;-(
I know my higher power has a plan for me. But for now I remain a little lonely and lost.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.
I don't have much to say but I'm super sad its over after 4 years and 11 months I will be flying solo. I will take time in my life for me and work on being the best I can be.
I hope 2013 will be my best year yet. It's weird to say I'm single after being a little family Andy, me and Truman. Now it's just me and Truman.

"it's never to late to find passion"
“Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand-and melting like a snowflake.”
It's been awhile, let's see I ran Quad. Dipsea for the 15th time a couple weeks ago! And last weekend was my 5th Ridgecrest 50k which I finished in 5:59.
I have just been training alot and running with Truman. I will be running 48 hours as my b-day run starting Dec. 13th at 4pm and will finish Dec. 15th at 4pm.
Getting old is fun!
I didn't get picked in the western states lottery.
A great article was written in competitor magazine about me in the December issue so pick up the latest copy.
Ok I'm sleepy good night!

Love Life, Live Life
I am very happy to report I was first place and only female finisher of Run D Amore 125 miler.
In a time of 30:07, I was expecting a 33 or 34 hour finish.
This race was the same formate as RDV 100 which was held in august.
They did not have the 125 mile option so I ran the 100 miler in 24:27 I think. Have to check it could of been 25:27 ;-). I had just came off the 224 mile John Muir trail fastback when I ran it.
I was excited that they were having it again and adding the 125 miler.
I had just run Javelina 100 miler 12 days before so didn't think I would be fast. Guess what I was my splits were
Marathon 4:20- 50k 5:25 - 50 miler 9:28- 100k 12:03- 100 miler 23:30- 125 miles 30:07.
My positive attitude and my smart nutrition plan worked well. My last 3 hundreds have went very well for the most part. I think I finally have it figured out. It's taken me 86 hundred mile finishes to do so.
I was most looking forward to running the last 8 miles with my dog Truman.
Fast Jerry paced me through the freezing ass cold night , it got down to 26 degrees. He was awesome as always when it comes to crew and pacer he is the best.
I want to thank Alan & Rajeev and the volunteers and everyone who ran.
I love an event where everyone can cheer each other on.
The race had a 50k, 50m, 100k, 100m and 125 miler. Next year they will get rid of the 125 and make it 135 miles woo hoo!
I am now official qualified for the Spartathlon in Greece, and I have the fastest 125 mile time for females this year since I don't know of any other 125 mile race this year!

Javelina Jundred
I got my 5 year finishers jacket at JJ over the weekend!! Woo hoo!
It was my fastest time on the course too. I finished in 25:15, 15th female and 57th overall.
365 starters and only 161 finishers.
I had a pretty darn good run if I can say so myself.
Thanks to all the volunteers and my awesome pacers Rachel and Scott.
Next up Run D' Amore 125 next weekend ;-)

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.
Truman did it!! He ran Rocky Ridge 10k trail race. He finished in 1:11 1st in his age 59th overall. I am so proud of him!! I think he will be able to run a half marathon soon.
We ran in memory of Rocky Ridge RIP little man

“It doesn’t matter where you are, you are nowhere compared to where you can go.” -
Rio Del Lago 100 finished!! 28:05.
Happy to report I had a great 70 miles and slowed down but still finished feeling great.
