CREATE YOURSELF............
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. George Bernard Shaw
Well Angeles crest 100 didn't go as planned but that's why I run hundreds. You never know what the day will bring.
I pulled my hamstring 3 times along the course first time at mile 30 but kept on pushing. I took a total of 12 advil which in turn tore up my stomach so really wasn't eating.
I decided to call off my race at mile 75. I had plenty enough time to finish but was in to much pain and knew taking more advil was not an option.
I have Rio del Lago 100 in two weeks and want to be healthy for that race.
I want to thank Jimmy Gabany who paced me 16 miles and John Vigil who was suppose to pace me the last 25, sorry John. They were awesome.
I also want to thank George Velasco who helped crew me after he dropped.

On a positive note Andy Kumeda my BF rocked the course in 28:16(i think) not positive of the time but i think that was it.
Thanks for all the vibes that were send. I got them that's why I kept going friends.

Gotta stay positive. Live Life Love Life!!!

All of life is a journey; which paths we take, what we look back on,
and what we look forward to is up to us. We determine our destination,
what kind of road we will take to get there, and how happy we are when
we get there.
From A Little Book of Happiness

Realise how perfect everything is

When you realize how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky. Buddha
I have been busy .... My roommate Jerry, Linda and Joe did the north to south lake loop in the Sierras a couple weeks back what an awesome run.
It was quite the epic. It took Joe and I 26 hours, and Linda and Jerry 32 hours. The run is around 60 miles ;-)
I got sick again after the run but feel better after spending 7 days at Andy's with Rocky.
I'm running Angeles crest 100 this weekend , going for my 7th finish I would appreciate some positive vibes from all my friends to help get me through.
I hope I do ok with the heat since I really don't feel heat trained.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend.
Sorry I have been slacking on my blog lately plan to write more from now on.
Love you all!!!!
This picture is of me George and Andy marking the Bulldog 50k course this past Friday night ;-)

THE SECRET OF HEALTH.....................
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
Buddha
I was so sick last week that I had to cancel out of running Headlands Hundred. I was sad but knew it was the right choice.
I slept 11 hours Saturday.
I finally felt well to go out and run 20 miles on the Ohlone trail with Mike & Jerry
I felt much better getting out on the trails. Having poison oak & the flu really sucked. My week came to a nice end..........I got stung by a bee. Glad that week is over.
Moving on..........This week is much better I started my vacation today. I'm off until the 23rd woo hoo.
Friday I am running the North to South lake loop out of Bishop in the Sierras with Jerry & Linda. I love the Sierras it's going to be awesome.
I hope you all have some plans for the weekend ;-)

Achievement....................
Achievement seems to be connected with action.Successful men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit. Conrad Hilton
Busy week running out of Sonora pass with Julia for 5 1/2 hours Friday up to 11,590ft Leavitt peak
Saturday was a busy day of trail work with Ultrarunners Chihping, Mylinh, Joe , Grant and Mike. We had a blast and a good workout cutting back tons of Coyote brush. Which by the way had poison oak growing around it. Now I have tons of poison oak ;-(
Sunday was another awesome run out of Hetch hetchy weed did a 30 mile run. Ran with my roommate Jerry we were super tired because it was hot and we had to fight off the bugs.
It was a long day.
I have a cold which I am fighting off along with my poison oak. I hope to be well in time for Headlands hundred Saturday.
Send me some healing energy friends. Ok off to work.
Oh one more thing I am taking donations for a running stroller for Rocky, I would love to take him on some long adventures I'm thinking on my run to Sunol and back 20 miles once a week. It would give me a workout pushing him up the peak.
I also would love to have him join me at the Fremont Fat ass 50k in January I could push him in the doggie stroller the whole way. I am asking if anyone can donate a few bucks. That would help. Thanks friends.
