Fun times at the Fremont Fat ass 50k
go to http://fremontfatass50k.blogspot.com to read the full report of all the fun.
Thanks to all who showed up. It was an awesome day.
Catra 1st place woman at the FFA 50k. I ran 9 mi. faster than last year. Not bad a week after running 80 miles at HURT
Let balance be your watchword, for every win there is a loss and so it follows that every loss begets a win. Unforeseen changes and unexpected occurrences will ultimately be favourable. It is easy to say, and yet powerfully true, that when faced with a problem the best way through is to deal with it. Running away or avoiding problems only brings them back later on. The law of balance is an immutable universal law, so understand that the ebb and flow of life is an intrinsic part of our strength and character building.

Catra..WELL DONE!! First place. That is an amazing gain in time especially after your 80 miles. Now maybe a little rest and recovery, eh?
Take care of yourself so you can keep kicking butt!

I'm running a 50k next Sunday with 10,000ft of climb..Today was pretty flat..I don't like running flats but I believe we should work on our weakness's and that's mine...

SEEEEEEEEE!

Just when a door closes, a window fly's open! This is redemption for the HEAT race.

What did you learn running THIS race?

I love how you take bites out of life!

Hi Catra!

What a great way to start the day! Enjoyed meeting your friends -- what an impressive group of runners. I thought of all of you around 1pm after I had showered, eaten, napped! etc., etc. Hopefully I will run more miles next year!! Thanks for inviting me, it was really fun.
