We often blind ourselves to beauty precisely because it inspires us to go beyond ourselves. Today, find only beauty, especially when your first instinct is to be critical of someone, something, or some opportunity.

Todays crossfit: Run 400meters x 4 times 1:40-1:44-1:40-1:43. I practiced the pose method during my run rather than going out really fast and dying in the end. I stayed with 90 cadence the whole run. I need to work my way up to close to 100.
I will be back in SoCal at Andy's until Wed. we have an action packed weekend of Running, Clubbing, crossfitting & Musink tattoo convention. I am learning to live outside the box and balace many fun things ;)

"Show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream" she said "The one that makes me laugh" she said And threw her arms around my neck "Show me how you do it And I promise you I promise that I'll run away with you I'll run away with you" Spinning on that dizzy edge I kissed her face and kissed her head And dreamed of all the different ways I had To make her glow "Why are you so far away?" she said "Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you That I'm in love with you" You Soft and only You Lost and lonely You Strange as angels Dancing in the deepest oceans Twisting in the water You're just like a dream Daylight licked me into shape I must have been asleep for days And moving lips to breathe her name I opened up my eyes And found myself alone alone Alone above a raging sea That stole the only girl I loved And drowned her deep inside of me You Soft and only You Lost and lonely You Just like heaven

Hi Catra! I watched you run in the last two HURT 100s. You are such an inspiration to me!! I would like to post a link to your blog on mine. I only have a small number of readers right now, all former runners turned stay at home mommies/couch sitters. We are pulling ourselves out of the house and back out on the trails as well as trying new workouts and eating guidelines. I think you would be a wonderful inspiration for them too. Please check out my blog and let me know if I can post a link and a blurb about you. Thanks for everything!

Hey Catra, you're in SoCal? I am too at the moment. If you'd like, let's take in some hills! I went up Iron Mountain today (~20 miles round trip, maybe 4000 ft. gain), and it totally rocked. Be ready for snow up high -- the hills here are big. :-)
