Crossfit and Alameda creek 12 mile run...............
crossfit WOD......5 times for time...500 meter row and 400 meter run.
I finished in 23 min. Than went out for a 12 mile run along Alameda creek.

Graffiti under a bridge. I guess I wouldn't really want to be running out here late at night when the gangstas R around. To be honest I think a lot of this stuff is painted by wanna be hoods, young kids who just are trying to be cool
Me running strong coming back from my turn around point near the Bay.
Trying to out run the clouds.
Practice makes perfect me taking time out to do 33 box jumps or in this case bench jumps.
Doing a cartwheel, need to work on my form. Actually the rocks were cuting my hands..OUCH!!!
Had to take a picture in front of a word, a lot of people call me ;)

What do you take with you on a run like this as far as hydration? Can't tell what's on your back. Do you have a water bladder? I need fluids on my longer runs but don't really like carrying a bottle. Just wondering. Thanks

I just found your blog today and spent an hour or more reading the archives. What an inspiration you are!Stong, sensitive, beautiful, super fit, and completely unique! I was looking for inspiration because I will be doing my 1st 50k in a couple of weeks, and boy did I find it!
Keep up the great work!

What word is that? Please interpret gangsta writing....
Thanks!

Catra said...

gangsta is just slang for gangster.
The write are words that refer to gangs in the area Norte is one there is other writing on the wall like Fremont refering to ones home turf. I was actually running in the Newark area so I'm assuming that is why someone tagged Fremont on their turf just to piss each other of I guess. I was never in a gang but know law enforcement who deal with them.

Actually, Catra, I was trying to figure out the word you are posting next to because it was hard for me to read! I live in Tucson - very familiar with young punky gangsters!

You blend perfect with the wall. You tattos looks like grafity on your boddy

I think Pinkcorker is asking what word you are standing by in the picture - which is REBEL.

Hi Deanna-
The skirt I'm wearing is one of my own. I have a lot of skirts. If I'm not wearing an Atalanta one then it's one of my own that I made.
Thanks for the comments and post.
