"This is living"
I give thanks each day for my life. I give thanks that I have a healthy body and wonderful friends. This time of year I do get sad wishing my Mom was still with me. She was such a Holiday person always so festive. Christmas is just not the same without her.
I know she is always with me , I feel her spirit around me each and everyday.
Another wonderful Newt picture by me.
Happy girl at the end of a long day.
"All is evolution, all is cyclical, therefore endings lead to new beginnings. You cannot begin without an end. If you cannot let go of the past then the past constantly recreates itself. Look now to the future and the paths to your goals will again become clear. Obstacles or limitations will be surmounted and lost or forgotten opportunities will again be presented. Success is now within your grasp but realise that to maximise that success new ways, or new methods, could make life so much easier. © Stephen Haynes"

I know it can be tough, especially around the Holidays. Remember your Mom by keeping a tradition alive, or decorating part of the house the way she would have. Or start a new tradition that is just for her memory. Like at the begining of each hour on your birthday run have a memory from that year of your life that you want to "share" with her. Plan them out ahead of time if you want.
Just an idea- It did help me when I lost my Dad.

Wishing you all the best,

Jeffrey

Hi Jeffery-
Thanks so much for the advice.
I always draw energy from her and my other Angels. Especially during my b-day run. I couldn't do half of what I do if it wasn't for her even though she's gone. She truly inspires me still each day.

It's on page 53 of the Feb 08 edition uner the Reach Your Peak section. Its about Setting a Fitness Challenge in regards to doing challenging acts on your birthday and what not, it reads..."Ultrarunner Catra Corbett runs her age in hours each year (she's 43)..."

Pretty cool!
