I'm so happy to be me. Fit as f**k at 43.
These are photo's from my past. My past shaped me into who I am today. I have no regrets.
All drugged up and no place to go in Hollywood. 95
Me & my club I use to put on once a month in Fremont. The Avant garde dance palace. I'm the one with the black mo hawk.
I think 1989.
Past out and drunk 1990.
One of the times I quit drinking for a month. Heading out for a run. 1991 ish

What a difference! You were always very cute, but I prefer the new Catra. You're very impressive.

Less than 2 wks 'til I turn 48.

Have a happy New Years.

Very Siouxsie looking. I wanted so badly to be part of that scene, I'm about 8 years younger (give or take a month or two)and saw only the 'glamour' of those times. Still love all the great music from those times though. I have to agree with Jeffo though.

It's really all very Sisters Of Mercy meets Bauhaus meets Siouxsie meets Lord only knows what... Attractive none the less. Very impressive that you are as fit and look as good as you do at 43, a lot of my friends 10 years younger into the drinking and drug scene (see your quote 'all drugged up and nowhere to go') didn't fare so well.

Hey Jack-
The scene was so very cool...I love the music too.
I still try to hit Goth night at the Blank club in San Jose once in awhile.
I was into the scene since 87. When it first came to the U.S.A there was a band called Specimen, that helped create the scene in SF.

Our pasts make us who we are today. Good or bad they form our character. Hope you can swing the February thing we'd discussed - can't wait to meet you!

How very cool that you can embrace where you've been and what you'e done rather than hide from your past. I think you're right: without our pasts, we wouldn't be who and what we are today. We need to honor that road, no matter how bumpy.

Happy Birthday!

Omg. Lol. Now I know exactly who you are! The gal at the top was my highschool classmate Katrina, a year younger than me. I remember when you two used to hang out for a period of time. I think I used to see you two at Trocadero (I think that was the place) a lot. If I dig around, I am SURE I have pictures of you. Ahh, memories.

(few minutes later). Okay, I found one! I have a one photo album of old clubbing days. It's you and Katrina. Don't have a scanner, so I'll have to take a photo of the photo and upload it for you. I used to think your makeup was amazing. :D

Miki-
OMG how funny. Yes Katrina and me we were known as Trouble #1 and Trouble #2. We use carry around our little dolls dressed like us and I usally lead her around my a leash. I have tons of pictures of me and her. How funny you know me now and you knew me back then. Such a small world....I haven't been in contact with Katrina since 96. I often wonder what she's up to. Did you remember the Goth band The Flesh A Go-Go??? Jason the lead singer was my boyfriend.

Catra,

That 1991ish picture of you reminds me when I started mountain biking Mission Peak. Started mountain biking Mission Peak in April 1991 and haven't stopped ever since. You didn't start running Mission Peak back then did you? Don't remember running into you back then with that look. Hope to see you on the peak soon!
