See it's not always about me..LOL....Today it was about fellow crossfitter Eric. My goal was to get him up Mission Peak. It was a succes. He made! There was a moment he thought he might not make ,it but he did. Happy camper ,student Eric with coach Catra. He made it up the peak even with super bad cramps in his legs. Great job Eric.
One World crossfitters Eric & Catra striking a pose on Mission Peak.
Eric did mention he would go up Mission Peak again, but not after a crossfit WOD. Eric thank God we decided not to wear the 20 and 30 lb weighted vests. It could of been real ugly ;)

Try not to force the situation or force a resolution. If you would just wait a moment more you will be shown, or find, exactly what you are looking for. Try to use more inner guidance, in other words, your intuition or gut-feelings. You should now be evolved enough to know that you don’t always have to have all the answers or know the future in advance in order to attain success and avoid failure. Trust in yourself and the universe and everything will turn out as it is supposed to.

Just read your last few posts. Ohmy Gawd, can't believe someone had the gall to make the anon comment you cited. Well, may I just say that I find your blog compelling, informative, fun, honest, vulnerable, and inspiring. It has been really cool to read about your races, cross fit, and body art. I love the flashbacks to 80's. Not only to see how far you've come, but because I also was a creature from that time period! But the thing maybe that I love best is that you are an example that "fitness" can be a creative expression of everything you are. Keep on keepin' on. With respect and admiration, Deb
Love that you have him carrying the pink handheld :)
Catra,
Thanks for the tips, and thanks for introducing me to CrossFit! it has been great so far! I wish I could have seen Eric's face as you two ran up mission peak, lol. I always see the most complaints on the CF website on the 5k run WOD's, who doesn't like running?!. You're going to rock the PCT next time around! Good luck at HURT!
Catra... in your last post... you mentioned an upcoming book. You might want to check out www.arcadiapublishing.com They seem to be oriented towards the "self-publisher" in local areas. This week a new book was made available on the history of San Diego Lifegaurds, and a few months back they published one on San Diego's surfing history. These have all been written by local authors... that's Arcadia's deal. Who know's... after I retire, they may publish my photos from the last 40 years. Take care, Stevo
I discovered your blog a few weeks ago and I get so much inspiration from it. Please keep up the good work and don't change a thing.

He's a CUTIE! Nice!
What's a good time to get up the peak? What a nice hike though.
Thanks -r
