IN SILENCE, WE MOST READILY PRESERVE OUR INTEGRITY.
Your soul thrives on silence. From deep inside, you recive your most certain guidance and instruction. In silence, you are without distractions. This is why we fear silence-we fear its power. Enjoy quiet meditation today.

Hey! That looks like me after a good hard run!!!

Good luck and have fun on the PCT, and as a parent of young children, I have to say THANKS for sharing your adventures with the "youtz" of today, they need a good example of healthy activity.

I know people who maintain a nonstop barrage of noise in their lives. They thrive on chaos and are lost without a crisis to proclaim. Crisis and the attention they get make them feel important.

These people are afraid of silence. They are afraid of what they will discover about themselves. Instead, they hide behind the crisis du jour.

Hey Anon-
I believe silence is good. I use to practice a day of silence at least 4 times a year.
I need to get back in the habit of doing it again.
I do practice 6 hours of silence at a time once a month when I'm out alone on a run.
Namaste,
Catra

Rocky has gone on a 13 miler before with my X-husband. I was running 40 and they did 13 miles. Rocky ran a lot of it.
He's good for 6 hilly miles and 8 flat.
Cheers,
Catra
