Looking good hottie. Stay cool out there and drink LOTSA water. And absolutely...I LOVE BEING ALIVE. Most days I feel like I must be the luckiest girl around...second to you, of course! ;)

Looking very fit, Catra! And color-coordinated. Love the peach tank and amber glasses. You should be the cover-girl for Montrail ads.

I can't see any photos for the 14th. All I see is squares with red X's. Is it just me? Que va? Everyone else posted what great pix they were.

Great pics Catra. It was such awesome weather yesterday that I ran the peak last night. Short sleeves the whole way even close to midnight! Have a great time on your Sonol/Del Valle run. That is such a beautiful (and tough) route. I need to plan to do it some time this season.

Heya,

Really enjoy yr blog. Am getting into ultras, have my first 50 miler in April. Woo!

Depending on how the 50 miler goes, would like to do a 100 miler in '08. This stuff is much more fun than trying to qualify for Boston!

Dang! Forgot to ask my question.

So I'm trying to get into trail shoes. Had some Tevas that were fantastic--light, soft, comfortable. But because they're light & soft, they couldn't really haul me through a 50K. So now I'm onto Montrail Hardrocks. But each of them is a brick, and that's before crossing water. What do you like running in?

Take care--

Hey David-
I of course love Montrails. I'm sponsored by them. Have run for them since 2001 because I love there shoes.
My shoe of choice is Hardrocks. I wear them in all my 100's and will wear them on the PCT.
I like the CD's and the highlanders too.
