Getting ready to run Headlands Hundred tomorrow, send me positive thoughts my friends. Have a great weekend.
Get ready, I repeat, get ready, as the wheel is about to turn and an old cycle end and a new cycle begin. A new way of doing things is about to commence. The struggle will now be over as life rapidly turns into something much better. Sometimes there has to be havoc and chaos while a new order is established. Don’t get stuck on how it ought to be, let things go the way they will - this will bring you much good fortune. Don’t forget to say thank you for this chance to begin again.

You will do awesome.
50 miles you know all the fun starts after 50 miles. I'm sure you will work your way up to a 100 miler in no time. Say hi to me tomorrow.

Good Luck Ms. Catra. Here is quote from a movie I saw this week called Kingdom of Heaven. It spoke to me.

King Baldwin IV: A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

Have a great race!

By the way, I’ve noticed in your pictures you seem to be using a Nathan Intensity hydration vest – or something kinda like it. I’ve got a Hydrapak that’s great for hiking but has a stiff back and thick lumbar pads that hold it up and away from your body and bruise something awful on runs over 50K. I’d like to upgrade to something that will be comfortable for runs between 50 and 100 miles. How’s your Nathan for that? Any problems? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the great blog!

Hey, Catra! It was great seeing you before the race yesterday morning and along the course, too. I did my 50 miles, barely, and it's now more than 27 hours after the race began and it blows my mind that you're still out there on the trails. You're amazing!

Hi Catra. It was great to see you again out there. I finished my 2nd 50 in one piece and had to leave for a long drive. Congratulation on your 6th 100 of the year and my 58th 100 mile run! That's simply amazing.

So, was it another fine run? I met AK Saturday while crewing at Josephine Saddle during the Mt Disappointment 50/50 and now the AC100 is right around the corner! I'm really looking forward to finally meeting you too... and hopefully, you're still saving me a space on your crew. :)

After this weekend, it seems I'm no longer the only one interested in ultra trail running and a number of our CrossFitters are starting to wrap their heads around the idea too. It will be really nice having you around our Team CrossFit Academy.
