Wasatch 100 miler. Me, Julia and Linda. We paced and crewed Julia at Wasatch 100 this past weekend it was her first time on the course. She went into the race with a sore knee. She made it to mile 93 and got timed out there. we are all so proud of you Julia. Julia in the middle, at the start of Wasatch 100.
She even said she could of easily dropped out but wanted to move until she got pulled. She felt great other then she couldn't really run because of her knee ,we taped it up, to help her keep moving.
She did miss the cut off by 1.5 hours. She gave it her best. I will write a full report and put up more pictures later.

mile 95 is a huge accomplishment with a bummer knee. I can relate to knee issues..they suck

95 miles is a very long way. Congrats! way to go!!
95 miles is great!! Congrats!! rest up, and try again. Just keep moving forward.
What a trooper, to be timed out at 95 is ouch! I am sure you girls had lots of positive energy no matter what. Congratulations!
100 miles. Sheesh! I must admit when the 15K came up recently I groaned!
Nice job to Julia for making it so far on a bad knee and on such a tough course. I heard it was pretty cold out there, too! Time for her to rest up and recover.
Wow! And on a bad knee too! That's a loooong way. But now she can rest and recover and be all the stronger for it.
Great tenacity! I was following Julia online and saw that she was moving very slowly. I'm so impressed that she got to Pot Bottom. The long steeeep downhills must have been really tough.
I paced Dave Hunt and the downs really hurt my knees. He dropped me after P. B. and went on to run sub-24. I wish I could have seen you and Julia at the finish, but I didn't stay around for too long.
Great job to all of you!!
