Mi-wok 100k went well I PR"d ran 13:22. I also ran Mt. Diablo 50k Sunday very hard double. I asked Sarah the RD if I could run 50k insted of the Marathon or 50 miler. I knew If I tried to run 50 miles it would take me 18 hours. they only give you 16. They were nice enough to let me do 50k. I don't run marathons so that's why I wanted to run 50k. It was hot and I was slow. I just had fun. 93 miles two days 25 hours 22 min. I had an awesome weekend. Posted by Picasa

Congratulations on the double! Blows my mind that you were considering the 50m on sunday. Sounds like you may have been running Miwok close to some of my Austin buddies that went out - Meredith, Clea, Stephanie. Hope all the heehawin' didn't distract you too much!

Whoa- I came along your blog via Scott Dunlap's blog...and am so totally impressed with not only your adventurous attitude and free spirit to travel and test yourself, but also the fact that you have come from adversity and won...and that you are totally nonconformist! You don't fit any mold that I can think of, and I love it! Your hair is gorgeous, your skirts are totally cute, and the tats are way cool too. With the way you run, though, my first question would be regarding food-intake. What are you eating, woman? You must be having to slut down major food to keep up with such an energy expenditure. Also, if you EVER, EVER need someone to pace you in a longer race I would love to. I am fast by ultra standards but have never been that adventurous. I would like to change that. You are very inspiring! Stay strong.

Thanks for sharing the trail with me at Miwok and congrats on doubling up! I am very impressed that you were on your feet moving so strongly on Sunday because the most I could muster was moving between bar stools in Sonoma trying to catch up on the Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

Too easy? You should come try your luck at the Pikes Peak marathon next year! I hear you though, road marathons aren't my thing either.

Hey Olga-

It was great seeing you too. Will you be at training camp????
I might go still not sure. I might do Half Dome three days in a row instead. better training.

I don't live in the Bay area unfortunately. I am an East Coaster. I think I am going to be at Western States pacing one of my friends though...details are not nailed down but I could hopefully see you there if it works out.
