ROCKY ROCK STAR UPDATE......
Rocky's surgery went well. The Doctor was shocked at what he found embedded in the corner of Rocky's eye.
It was the cats claw. The nail tore off and was embedded. The doctor said he has never seen anything like this. Rocky is a very lucky boy he didn't loose his eye.
I visited him twice today and he looks great. I will pick him up and take him home tomorrow afternoon.
The doctor saved the claw to show me. I still can't believe what a good little trooper Rocky is. He had to be in pain but he didn't act like it.
TODAY, BE MINDFUL OF HOW OFTEN YOU JUDGE OTHERS. IN RECOGNIZING WHY YOU SEE OTHERS IN A NEGATIVE LIGHT, YOU DICOVER THE FEARS THAT YOU NEED TO HEAL IN YOURSELF.

Oh, I missed the initial accident report but I am glad to hear he is fine! How crazy.
My cat had to have his eye removed and he's fine but other people act weird around him. And he doesn't go out in public. I can't imagine the stigma of a one-eyed dog.

Happy and healing vibes to both of you!!!

Catra, my cat escaped from our apartment for about 45 minutes and got trapped with his head in an elevator door. He sacrificed his left eye to get his head out, but we are soooo lucky he did it!
It was a freak accident.

How's Rocky recovering at home?

Poor Rocky, and those dang cats, ugh! Well I'm glad he's better and healing. He's got a great "mommy" to nurse him back to health! Hugs for Rocky!
