PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER....................
THINGS THAT SEEM HARD ARE NOT ALWAYS THAT HARD. PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER, AND YOU WILL GET TO THE END.
Awesome run today on the Mission Peak 9 miles total. The weather was perfect.

This morning I happened to turn on the T.V and was flipping channels, I got to the 700 club a religious show and there was Chris McDougell talking about his book Born to run. He was showing the woman how to run barefoot.

Crazy how that book has taken off. I still haven't read it. Chris owes me a copy which he sent but I never got. I am mentioned in the book ;-)

One day I will write my book we all know how many stories I have.
Each time pound the trail there is a story out there waiting in the wilderness.

Hi Catra -

I found out about you b/c of the book!!! I was so surprised to find out that we're practically neighbors! I've been "stalking" your blog ever since! :)

You're now my #1 running/positive thinking inspiration!!!! I hope we can cross paths someday volunteering at a local race :)

Can't wait to read your book but with all the running you do, how will you ever find time?
Chris's book is really great.

Often the road seems easier once you've taken the first step too.

Put me down to reserve a copy of your book! I love your adventures! Chris's book is great as an audiobook if you don't get the hard copy. ~~Marcy

I've read 'Born to Run' and remember the section when you're mentioned. Great read, and you have a great blog here!

I found your blog because you were mentioned in the book! I've ran since I was 12--never very good at other sports. I took time off to have babies but I'm back at it now and training for a marathon in June. I love reading about your long, long runs. You're an inspiration! Keep it up!

I thought it was funny that Chris was on 700 club since he is a pretty staunch atheist yet he sees that barefoot running has no boundaries!!
