Realise how perfect everything is

When you realize how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky. Buddha
I have been busy .... My roommate Jerry, Linda and Joe did the north to south lake loop in the Sierras a couple weeks back what an awesome run.
It was quite the epic. It took Joe and I 26 hours, and Linda and Jerry 32 hours. The run is around 60 miles ;-)
I got sick again after the run but feel better after spending 7 days at Andy's with Rocky.
I'm running Angeles crest 100 this weekend , going for my 7th finish I would appreciate some positive vibes from all my friends to help get me through.
I hope I do ok with the heat since I really don't feel heat trained.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend.
Sorry I have been slacking on my blog lately plan to write more from now on.
Love you all!!!!
This picture is of me George and Andy marking the Bulldog 50k course this past Friday night ;-)

I've recently started following your blog (like within the last month or so) for inspiration. Your words, your pics, and just your EXCITMENT make me want to tack more miles on every week.

Good luck in the Angeles Crest 100 this weekend, I can't even imagine what it's like to keep moving that long.

Your opening reminded me of one of the chapters in the Tao Te Ching. Glad to see you are having a great summer (well, with a few challenges thrown in for fun). Good luck at Angeles Crest. At least you're getting that heat training in now!

You inspire me everyday Catra!
Your racing, your spirit and your attitude move me. Thank you.

This is what I use for inspiration right now...

“It’s all in your head! You have to be stronger than your body.” (Sal 'swift')

Either that, or a line from the Bee Gees - Staying Alive (guilty pleasure, OK :) )

"Got the wings of heaven on my shoes;
I’m a dancin’ man and I just can’t lose"

Run strong Catra!

BTW - there is an 'ultra' in my future, just gotta take that first step!

Thanks for marking the course at Bulldog. I don't know how you did it at 2:00 am if that was true.

There was no way anyone could have gotten off the course. It was very well marked.

Sorry to hear your event didn't go as planned this past weekend.
