Training with my fastpacking pack. This is all I will carry on my back for my 601 mile journey. I know it doesn't look like much but I have a tent, sleeping bag, foam pad clothes and food. First aid kit and few other things.
Have a great day:) Posted by Picasa

  1. Holy Crap-ola! I think you need to talk to my SO. He told me to get ready to carry 70lbs (each) for a 4 day trip. I think it's time to downsize!!

  4. nice pack!

johnny and i had a conversation about backpacking this weekend. we used to subscribe to backpacker magazine, and based on the magazine, you'd think everyone was a fast-packer. but all the backpackers we see are waaaay overloaded. not to mention, we actually saw someone with an external frame pack this weekend, yow!

I will when I get back no time now. I leave tonight for Death Valley. I'm pacing/crewing at Badwater than I start my journey July 27th.
