My dog is like my kid!!! I love her to death and she has gone as far as 12 miles...but nowadays we stick to 8M or less on nice trails. A running dog is a happy dog.
DUH, I also forgot to say congrats on your WS200 attempt, smart call to pull out, and even smarter call to back off for a bit. From what I have read only an animal could have made it through those conditions...not that you AREN'T an animal...but you know what I mean. Happy trails ahead!
