I heard your interview on Endurance Radio and you are my new hero! I just picked up trail running after a year of roadrunning. Someday, I hope to run ultras but that might be a bit off. And, "how do you get enough protein?"!!!! The world's most cliche question! I'm a vegan and my own ultra-running brother is constantly asking me that. Sad little guy that he is.
Yeah, I heard that to about the guy who interviewed me...I sent them my resume.. I thought they should of asked me more about my fast packing records on the JMT and my trifecta link up that I'm doing this summer on the JMT, TYT & TRT 599 miles. it will be the first time some one has linked them up.. I hear you about the sugar it is very addicting........
I'm a vegan and I mostly do raw foods. I get my protien from raw nuts. I get enough..I think!! Trailrunning is way better then roadrunning..I love the wildreness, it's such a beautiful place.. Thanks for the email. Catra
Hi Brownie....I only had two back then...It was before I had lot's of money to start collecting all the art.. I will be getting tattooed tomorrow too!!!!
The day's not over yet!! But hoping it will end well since I'll be helping out at the Mile 70 aid station at WS100. I'll be waiting for ya. :)
